Bluebell walk at Nanteos, led by Richard.
On Tuesday evening May 8th Richard Spencer has kindly arranged for us to go to the Penglandwen Nature Reserve where the bluebells are in flower.
Drive towards Nanteos Gate House, on the left, before you get to it is a large layby and a bit closer a smaller one for parking cars. Grid ref SN611786
We meet at 7pm. Wear strong shoes or boots as the path can be uneven and muddy .
Now all we want is a dry warm evening!!

After Alan and Anna’s recent trip to Gregynog Hall they thought it would be a good spot for an ABKA visit, so let’s do it!
The Montgomery beekeepers are keen to show us their apiary also. The date is Friday 17th August, we would meet there using your own transport, but if you need a lift please contact me .
We need to have an idea of numbers for the apiary site, so please, if you would like to go inform me of numbers.
The website is http://www.gregynog.org
There is a £2.50 car park fee. The website also says that there is a £3 admission fee, but there wasn’t when Alan and Anna visited last week.
There is a good cafe and walks.
The apiary is run by Montgomery Beekeepers… so it looks good.
